Cake, Cookie & Custom Order

Terms & Conditions

 

Cancellations:

14+ days notice: Full refund.

8 – 13 days notice:  You may cancel your order and we will refund up to 50% of the agreed upon total, not including any special materials we have already purchased for your order.

7 or less days:  We are unable to cancel or postpone any custom order.  We will proceed with making the custom order for the agreed upon date.

 

To cancel a custom order you must call the bakery at (905) 582-0862 and speak to a team member.  We do not accept any order changes or modifications via email, voicemail or DM.

 

Postponing an Order:

14+ days notice:  You may switch your custom order to any future date that still has space remaining.

13 or less days:  We are unable to postpone any custom orders with less than 14 days notice.  We will proceed with making the custom order for the agreed upon date.

 

To postpone a custom order you must call the bakery at (905) 582-0862 and speak to a team member.  We do not accept any order changes or modifications via email, voicemail or DM.

 

Order Modifications or Changes:

You may change or modify your custom order design within reason with at least 10 days notice.  We are unable to modify an order to make it smaller (ex: fewer custom cookies or a smaller sized cake) with less than 14 days notice.

 

To change or modify a custom order you must call the bakery at (905) 582-0862 and speak to a team member.  We do not accept any order changes or modifications via email, voicemail or DM.

 

Cake Pick-up:

We do all that we can to make sure your cake or custom order is completed to the specifications written on the order form.  If for some reason something is not decorated correctly as stated on your order form, we will make the necessary changes right away.

 

If you are not 100% satisfied with the look of your cake, you are not obligated to take the cake. If you choose not to take the cake, you will be issued a full refund via the original purchase method.  We will not negotiate a partial refund under any circumstances.

 

Once a cake had been picked up by you or your representative it is considered “Accepted”.  No refunds will be given after this point.

 

Cake Transportation and Storage:

Your cake will be packaged in a box to protect your cake from dust, rain or foreign objects.  We are not responsible for any damages to a custom order once it has left the bakery.  Below are some tips on how to best transport your custom cake or custom order

 

  • The best way to transport your cake is in the back of a van, station wagon or SUV. If none of these options are available, it is possible to transport smaller sized cakes in the floorboard of a car, however this is a last resort due to the potential for damage.  We do not recommend cakes to be transported on a car seat or on someone’s lap.  

  • On warm days, please have the air conditioning running full blast.  Do not leave your cake or custom order in the car while you run other errands.

  • Allowing pets to be in the car during a cake transport is strongly discouraged.

  • Driver must take extreme caution, keeping the vehicle level at all times, especially when turning corners, and must avoid any sudden acceleration, cornering or aggressive braking.

  • Upon arrival at the event venue, be sure to set up the cake in a cool display area away from sunlight (and away from anywhere sunlight might move to) without delay.  An optimal room temperature is 23 degrees or below.  Cakes are not to be displayed outside for any length of time.  Cakes must be set up on a sturdy level table.

  • If you are keeping a custom cake or cupcakes overnight before serving, they must go in the fridge.  Custom cookies should be left out at room temperature out of direct sunlight.
